Anna Schatte is an actor, writer, and director based in Austin, Texas.
As an actor, she has appeared on AMC's The Son and in Alejandro Montoya's Monday, part of Robert Rodriguez's Rebel Without a Crew. Her film work includes leading roles in Hot No Start, True Addiction, Oracle, Rebecca, Roles We Play, Titty Boy, and numerous national commercial campaigns for brands including H-E-B, Home Depot, Acura, Dell, Verizon, and Mitsubishi.
As a writer and director, Anna creates character-driven comedy. She has written and directed four narrative short films: Man-Child, Hung Up, The Toast, and Over Again, along with more than 50 original comedy shorts & branded content that have collectively been viewed over 2.5 million times on YouTube. Her work has been featured by TIME, People, and Alamo Drafthouse.
Her feature screenplay Pleasant Child received the Silver Award at the 2025 Southwest Film Festival Screenplay Competition. She is currently developing her debut feature, Not About Him, which was a 2026 Outstanding Screenplays Semi-Finalist.
